Even at first blush, it's clear that the 2016 Ford Flex is a full-size crossover cut from a different cloth. Not quite an SUV, nor a wagon, the Flex sports a look and feel wholly unlike most others.

And it was seemingly through this very sense of singularity that the Flex managed to catch the eye of Autotrader commentator, Jabari Jones. Learn what he liked best by scoping the clip below:

Offering a slightly spiffier vibe than the entry-level iteration, the Flex's mid-level model -- the SEL -- is quite the stunner.

Standard equipment on this trim includes 18-inch wheels, upgraded brakes, foglights, chrome exterior embellishments, keyless entry and ignition, dual-zone auto climate control, heated front seats, a 10-way power driver seat, as well as the SYNC 3 infotainment array, which further adds an 8-inch touchscreen, satellite radio and a second USB port.

So, what're you waiting for, loyal reader? The time is now to experience the brilliance of this beefy beaut. As such, we invite you to pop by our Hampton, VA facility, whereupon we'll happily arrange a test drive in the Flex, or any other Ford model that might've called your name.
