Like previous years of these vehicles, Ford has kept the features that make it a proper work truck. The venerable automaker has also transformed it into an executive truck by offering leather seats and luxury trim on higher trim levels. This versatility makes it an ideal choice for construction company owners and general contractors who need a tough truck for hauling materials and equipment and a luxurious vehicle to drive when meeting with clients.

Trim Levels

The F-250 and F-350 offer six trim levels:

  • XL
  • XLT
  • Lariat
  • King Ranch
  • Platinum
  • Limited

Each of these trims builds upon the previous one. The Lariat introduces the blind spot monitoring system to the line, for example. The King Ranch has the same standard feature, plus a 2-kW Pro Power Onboard system, ensuring owners can run their power tools from the truck bed.

Interior and Exterior Features

On the outside, the base model trim comes standard with black-painted bumpers and grille with available chrome and body color options. Choose from 10 body paint colors to personalize your truck to your personality. Two front tow hooks and the rear solar tinted glass come standard, too.

The super-duty line's interior has a multi-function switch message center to inform Newport News drivers of their truck's mechanical operations. Enjoy cloth seats on the base model, leather-trimmed seats on the Lariat, and leather on the King Ranch and higher trims.

Performance

The base model Ford F-250 XL and Ford F-350 XL come standard with a 6.8-liter V8 engine capable of 405 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The Ford XLT, Lariat, and Platinum trims offer a more powerful 7.3-liter 2-volt DEVCT NA PFI V8 engine. If you need a diesel engine, choose the King Ranch or Limited trim levels for their standard engine, a 6.7 HO Power Stroke® V8 turbodiesel. All of these options pair with an automatic 10-speed transmission.

Add packages to enhance performance in specific situations, such as snow plowing or camper packages. Enhance safety with an assistance package.

Technology Features

Lower trims of the Ford F-250 and Ford F-350 come standard with an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen. Higher trims come with a 12-inch LCD touchscreen with voice recognition so the driver can speak their commands. The base model comes standard with an AM/FM radio, and higher trims provide a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system with Sirius XM with 360 L. Enjoy wireless charging and Ford Telematics to keep Suffolk drivers apprised of their truck's maintenance needs.

Safety Features

The base model comes standard with SOS Post Crash Alert System and an anti-theft system. Ford made most Co-Pilot 360 features available on all trims. Hill start assist comes standard. A lane-keeping alert system is available, starting with the Ford Super Duty XL. Consult a Ford sales representative to build the ideal safety package to suit your driving needs.
